NEWS UPDATE FOR ORIGINAL PRINT COLLECTORS

Firstly a big thanks to all the many people who have helped with our exhibitions so far this year from the Modern Works on Paper at the RA, to our first retrospective show at Castor and Pollux, showing a selection of works from the past 15 years of our Original Printmaking.

The first half of this year has been a busy time and we are looking forward to showing you our new Original Screenprints at the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea Park. There are two opening nights on the 22nd and 23rd October. Please email or phone if you would like one of our free entry tickets (first come first served basis). The AAF is open from 23rd –26th October and we do have half price entry tickets for two people if this helps anyone.

We will be showing two new John Marshall (cow man) original screenprints alongside Katty McMurray’s four new colour works. John has a major exhibition at the Fairfax Gallery in Chelsea in September, and Katty will be showing her works on canvas at the Curwen and New Academy Gallery, also in September.

We are very pleased to be showing the work of Pam Glew for the first time.

There are also some great new pieces by John Simpson which would be a shame for you to miss.

Recently, we have been involved in making several works for renowned artist Gerald Laing, including the superb screenprint titled ‘KM (Kate Moss)’ which Gerald is showing with Artizan Editions.

Becky Blair is another young artist creating new works at our workshop. We are unable to show her work at the AAF this autumn, (as she has works in the spring show) so please see below.

Becky is off to Australia where she will be exhibiting her paintings in Perth.

We are excited to be making some more screenprints for Bridget Riley which if finished and approved should be shown at Frieze this autumn.

Don’t forget to email or phone if you would like tickets for the AAF.

Good wishes from all at Artizan Editions.
